Hunza is known as the land of hospitality.The people of Hunza are humble and warm-hearted they welcome the visitors with an open heart.They show great kindness not only towards their own people but to the visitors as well.
When people from other cities visit Hunza they are warmly welcomed by the locals.without any hesitation, they provide them shelter and food.
The people of Hunza are really hardworking and committed to their work.They spend most of their time working on the farms where they grow crops and fruits.In summer time they sell these fruits to traders who then take these fruits to different markets in different cities.This is a great way of income for the villagers.
In winters due to harsh weather the villagers, refrain themselves from doing any outside activity.The women’s usually stay at homes and do small activities such as handicraft and sewing.There is a great demand for these handmade products. Later in summer, they sell these items to tourists.
Despite the fact that Hunza is a small village.The people of Hunza are well educated and unsurprisingly the literacy rate in Hunza is said to be above 90% which is a great deal.In Hunza, people speak Burushaski which is their local language apart from Burushaski they also speak Urdu and English.
